There are a million ways to find help and advice with motherhood — why should you sign up for a Mother Squad Pay-As-You-Go session?
Fact-checking the advice you find on the internet can take over your life, if you let it. The truth is that there are so many conflicting points of view that it's hard to know where to start. The more formal venues, like doctors or maternity specialists, are infinitely more trustworthy but also prohibitively expensive. Every new mom has had a question that's not quite important enough to set up an appointment, but still important enough to weigh on her mind.
Our Pay-As-You-Go sessions are the best of both worlds. Easy, affordable, commitment-free, and peer-reviewed! They are led by our verified facilitators, who are experts on all things mom. Think of it as crowdsourcing a professional with 10-15 friends who likely have very similar questions to the ones on your mind.
These sessions are meant to focus on you, the mother, because everyone's focus is usually on the baby. Whether it's tackling sleep deprivation or how to get in a little self-care, we provide you with helpful strategies and resources that can easily fit into your busy life.
The Pay-As-You-Go session will happen through the video chat app Zoom, so having that preinstalled on your phone or computer will help you maximize your time. These are drop-in sessions, so you don't have to commit to a series. You just drop in to the session when you can. All you have to do is sign up at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.
Mother Squad’s drop-in sessions are based on a limited confirmed enrollment. Therefore, we require a 24-hour cancellation for a full refund to be issued. NO refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 24-hours of a scheduled session. Since we are paying your facilitator, you are essentially paying for your spot in the class. We are not able to give refunds for missed sessions. Unfortunately, offering these sessions without this policy would be cost prohibitive for us. *Note: We need at least 4 people for a group session, if we don’t have that number of people, we will notify you via email and/or text by 5 pm the day before the session and you will receive a refund. Please contact us directly for any issues involving cancellations. You can reach us at email@example.com or call/text 424-256-3775. Based on each mom’s preference, refunds can be given via Venmo or you can use the $20 as credit for future Mother Squad drop-in sessions.

If a dispute of any kind arises, we want to understand and address your concerns quickly and to your satisfaction. Please contact Company at email@example.com with any dispute. If we cannot resolve your concerns, we agree to an informal and inexpensive dispute resolution process requiring individual arbitration. “Disputes” between you and Company, including its processors, suppliers or licensors or their respective affiliates, agents, directors or employees, are defined for the purposes of these Terms to include any claim, controversy, or dispute (whether involving contract, tort, equitable, statutory, or any other legal theory) between you and Company including, but not limited to, any claims relating in any way to these Terms (including its breach, termination, or interpretation), any other aspect of our relationship, Company advertising, and any use of Company services.Binding Individual Arbitration
You and Company agree to arbitrate all Disputes. Arbitration is more informal than a lawsuit in court and seeks to resolve disputes more quickly. Instead of a judge or a jury, the case will be decided by a neutral arbitrator who has the power to award the same damages and relief that a court can. ANY ARBITRATION UNDER THIS AGREEMENT WILL BE ONLY BE ON A INDIVIDUAL BASIS; CLASS ARBITRATIONS, CLASS ACTIONS, PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL ACTIONS, AND CONSOLIDATION WITH OTHER ARBITRATIONS ARE NOT PERMITTED, AND YOU ARE WAIVING YOUR RIGHTS TO HAVE YOUR CASE DECIDED BY A JURY AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION AGAINST COMPANY. If any provision of this arbitration agreement is found unenforceable, the unenforceable provision shall be severed, and the remaining arbitration terms shall be enforced (but in no case shall there be a class arbitration). All Disputes shall be resolved finally and exclusively by binding individual arbitration with a single arbitrator administered by the American Arbitration Association according to this provision and the applicable arbitration rules for that forum. Consumer claimants (individuals whose transaction is intended for personal, family, or household use) may elect to pursue their claims in their local small-claims court rather than through arbitration. The Federal Arbitration Act, 9 U.S.C. §§ 1-16, fully applies. If you are a consumer bringing a claim relating to personal, household, or family use, any arbitration hearing will occur within the county or parish where you reside. Otherwise, any arbitration hearing will occur in Los Angeles, California, or another mutually agreeable location, or a location ordered by the arbitrator. The arbitrator’s award shall be binding on the parties and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. If you prevail on any claim for which you are legally entitled to attorney’s fees, you may recover those fees from the arbitrator. For any claim where you are seeking relief, Company will not seek to have you pay its attorney’s fees, even if fees might otherwise be awarded, unless the arbitrator determines that your claim was frivolous. For purposes of this arbitration provision, references to you and Company also include respective subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, employees, predecessors, successors, and assigns. Subject to and without waiver of the arbitration provisions above, you agree that any judicial proceedings (other than small claims actions in consumer cases) will be brought in and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state courts in Los Angeles, California, or federal court for the Central District of California.Applicable Law
